Another church is opening in the province of Batangas. This October, Victory will launch weekly services in the province’s capital, Batangas City.

In 2002, Victory planted a church in Lipa City, Batangas. For the past six years, the church in Lipa has been growing, with more leaders stepping up and small groups being formed. As more lives were touched by the gospel, Batangas City residents would come to the weekly gatherings held in Lipa. Starting with an outreach in the University of Batangas, attendees from Batangas City began to hold small groups in fastfood chains and workplaces in their area.

By the end of June this year, Victory began holding Sunday gatherings in Days Hotel, Batangas City. The weekly services allowed more people to be reached, including residents from nearby coastal municipalities, namely San Pascual and Bauan. After one month, the congregation outgrew its venue, which led to the holding of two services every Sunday at another venue, the Hotel Ponte Fino.

Today, Victory Batangas has twenty-four small groups, and more than 250 people attend its weekly gatherings. The consistent growth of the church calls for a larger venue to provide more people with opportunities to be encouraged by God’s Word.

In line with this, we are excited to announce that starting October 26, Victory Batangas will hold services at the Batangas Provincial Auditorium every Sunday at 9 AM. Parents may also bring their children to Kids Church, which will be available at the same time and venue.

Victory Batangas plans to reach more people in campuses and workplaces, as well as families in Batangas City. Let us continue to pray for the growth of this church plant. Tell your friends, relatives, or anyone you know to go and visit Victory Batangas.
